The National Basketball League (NBL) is the premier men's basketball league in Australia and New Zealand, established in 1979.

Since then, well-known media personality and gun basketballer Andrew Gaze has held a standing in the majority of the records over the past 45 years, but not for most games played.

Power forward Tony Ronaldson currently holds the most games played by an individual in the NBL, spanning a 21-season career with multiple teams.

Ronaldson initially began his time in the league with the Eastside Spectres (46 games, 1990-1991) before moving on to the South East Melbourne Magic (194, 1992-1998), Victoria Titans (102, 1998-2002), Perth Wildcats (170, 2002-2007) and New Zealand Breakers (79, 2007-2010).

Winning two NBL championships (1992 and 1996), the Adelaide product was a dominant force, sitting fifth in the all-time scorers records with 10,154 points, six for defensive rebounds (2,642) and holds the most appearances in the NBL Finals.

Gaze isn't far behind in total games played, sitting with 612 while Leroy Loggins (567), Glen Saville (563) and Mark Bradtke (554) round out the top five.
