Break Dancing - or Breaking as it is officially known - makes its debut at the 2024 Olympic Games, with a men's and women's competition to be held over two days.

In the Olympics constant drive to bring new fans to the Games, Breaking is one of the new sports for 2024, with fields of 16 in the boys competition and 17 in the girls competition to square off for the right to be crowned the sports first Olympic Gold Medallist.

Australia have competitors in each tournament, with all events to be held at the Place de la Concorde, which will also play host to the 3 x 3 Basketball, Skateboarding and BMX Freestyle competitions throughout the Olympics.
