Top seed Olivia Rogowska was bundled out of the Australian Open Wildcard Playoff in straight sets yesterday by 17-year-old Kaylah Mcphee.

Mcphee blew the women's draw wide open, beating the former world No. 102 and Fed Cup regular, 6-3, 6-2.

The 17-year-old is yet to even have a WTA ranking, but looks to be one to watch in the future if yesterday's form is anything to go by.

โ€œI was just thinking it was such a great opportunity to be out there. To play someone of that calibre was an honour,โ€ Mcphee said.

โ€œI went out confident but I didn't think I was going to win 3 and 2. It's probably the biggest win of my career and I'm pretty happy right now. I'm still kind of soaking it in.โ€

In other results, No.2 seed Arina Rodinova advanced in straight sets, while Jessica Moore (3) and Alison Bai (4) were both knocked out.
