Brisbane Roar have today announced that the club and defender Jerome Polenz have mutually agreed to terminate the German's contract.
The 29-year-old made 12 appearances for Brisbane since joining the club midway through the 2014/15 season.
Polenz made his A-League debut in October of 2012 with the Western Sydney Wanderers in their inaugural campaign, and played two seasons in the red and black.
The German youth international enjoyed much success in his short A-League stint, winning a premiership with the Wanderers in 2012/13, as well as being named in that year's A-League PFA Team of the Season.
