Liverpool are still trying to work out exactly what to do with centre-back Mamadou Sakho.
He missed the entire pre-season and was sent home from the US portion of the tour after a disagreement with Jurgen Klopp, and it's been revealed the Reds are seriously contemplating sending Sakho out on loan.
The 26-year-old was a key contributor for Liverpool last season which included a Europa League final berth, but the Frenchman missed the game due to a suspension from UEFA.
Sakho was banned indefinitely on a drug charge and missed the final as well as the entire Euro 2016, but was recently cleared of any wrongdoing.
Liverpool are considering allowing Mamadou Sakho to go out on loan as they look to get the defender back on track.

The Frenchman is severely lacking match fitness and it's likely the defender won't feature for Liverpool for at least another few weeks, but Klopp only has until August 31 to decide the future of Sakho as that's when the summer transfer window closes.
