Matildas star Lisa De Vanna has found a new home in America, joining the Orlando Pride for the remainder of their National Women's Soccer League campaign.

De Vanna will reunite with former Melbourne City teammates Steph Catley and Laura Alleway, after the trio led City to a W-League championship in their first season.

Pride head coach Tom Sermanni - who managed the Matildas between 2005-2012 - was excited to link up with De Vanna once again.

โ€œWe're delighted to sign a player of Lisa's quality to add to the depth of the team and our attacking presence,โ€ Sermanni said.

โ€œLisa is a world-class player, a game-changer and I'm looking forward to coaching her again.โ€

The 31-year-old striker is keen to make an impact over the remaining four games of the regular season, and is delighted with the move.

โ€œI am incredibly happy to be joining the Orlando Pride and keen to be working with Tommy again,โ€ De Vanna said.

โ€œI'm looking forward to joining the team. It's exciting to be a part of a new team and will do my best to help the squad for the rest of the season.โ€

De Vanna is one of Australia's best ever players at international level, scoring 40 goals in 117 caps for the Matildas since 2004.
