Novak Djokovic has won his sixth Australian Open, defeating Andy Murray once again, 6-1, 7-5, 7-6 in two hours and 53 minutes.
Djokovic raced through the first set in just 30 minutes, as Murray struggled to find his rhythm.
Murray stepped it up in the second set as the pair went blow for blow in a tantalizing set which included three breaks of serve. But it was Djokovic who grabbed the decisive break at 5-5 before holding serve to claim a two sets to love lead.
Djokovic then broke the Murray serve in the opening game of the third and looked to have one hand on the trophy. But the Scot had other ideas as he broke back midway through the set to take it to a tiebreak.
Djokovic then won the tiebreak in convincing fashion 7-3 to clinch a record sixth Australian Open crown.
