Australia is back in the World Group of the Fed Cup, after a three rubbers to two win over Slovakia.

Sam Stosur was the backbone of the win, winning both of her singles matches and closing out the doubles match with Casey Dellacqua to seal the win.

Stosur defeated Jana Cepelova on day one, 6-3, 6-4, while teammate Arina Rodionova went down in three sets 5-7, 7-5, 6-0 to Anna Schmiedlova.

Stosur then defeated Schmiedlova in straight sets on day two, as Dominika Cibulkova got the better of 17-year-old Aussie Kimberly Birrell 6-3, 6-1, setting up a deciding doubles rubber.

Stosur and Casey Dellacqua then came back from a set down to take out the match and send Australia back into the World group with a 5-7, 6-1, 6-2 win.
