Everton striker Romelu Lukaku finally broke his longest ever goal drought, and he did it in emphatic style after scoring a hat-trick in the Toffee's 3-0 win over Sunderland.
Lukaku hadn't scored at club level for 13 matches dating back to March, but scored all three goals in the space of 11 second-half minutes to propel Everton in third position and just two points behind Manchester City in first.
The 23-year-old put Everton in front in the 60th minute with a strong header, and doubled their lead with his aerial prowess in the 68th.
The Belgian rounded out the win just three minutes later with a cool left-footed strike, to keep Sunderland in the bottom three.
Everton began the strong side and could have broken the deadlock midway through the first half but Sunderland goalkeeper Jordan Pickford made a fantastic save to deny Lukaku.
The Black Cats' opportunities were scarce, and the second half was all the away side as they thoroughly deserved their win.
It's now the sixth straight time Sunderland has gone winless in their opening four Premier League matches of the season.
