Sussex bowler Bradley Currie has set Twitter ablaze after diving full-length to take an early contender for the catch of the English summer during his side's Vitality Blast win over Hampshire on Friday night.
Travelling to face the Hawks in Hove, Currie wasn't required to mark centre as Sussex posted a keen 183 run total from their 20 overs, with keeper Oli Parker top scoring with a rapid 64 from 33 deliveries.
And while Currie would play a leading role with the ball, collecting 3-for-27 from his four-over spell in Sussex's narrow six-run win, it would be the Scottish national team member's heroics in the outfield that would cap the contest.
With Hampshire making a late charge to the post, thanks largely to Benny Howell's swift 25, many home fans inside the Central County Ground's quaint surrounds were readying themselves to head home happy.
However, after Howell pulled English international Tymall Mills hard toward the square leg boundary, Currie moved rapidly from backward square, diving at beyond fence height to pluck the white ball at the full extension of his 186cm frame.

Currie's Marvellian acts at the popping crease and in the outfield have helped Sussex move further away from the bottom of the foot of the South division's table, sitting six points over strugglers Middlesex.
