Oklahoma City Thunder have stunned the Golden State Warriors, overcoming a 12-point halftime deficit to take a 1-0 series lead in the Western Conference finals, withย a 108-102 win at Oracle Arena.

Before the match, the Warriors were 37-0 this season when leading by double figures at half time.

Russell Westbrook (27 points) and Kevin Durant (26 points) combined for 53 points, as the Thunder rallied late. However, the game ended in controversial circumstances, with Golden State coach Steve Kerr appealing for a travel to be called against Westbrook late in the game when the Thunder tried to call a time-out with a three-point lead.

The time-out was called and Okalahoma went on to win the game by six points and take an unlikely series lead.

MVP Steph Curry finished with 26 points for the Warriors, while Clay Thompson had 25.
