The highly anticipated Conor McGregor v Floyd Mayweather fight has been confirmed.
The fight will take place on August 27 (AEST) at t-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
The fight will be run under boxing rules, at 154 pounds with 10-ounce gloves and it will be sanctioned by the Nevada State Athletic Commission.
Both fighters confirmed the match via their social media accounts on Thursday morning AEST.
The Irishman 12 years younger than Mayweather, however, he has never fought in a professional boxing match.
Mayweather's last fight was two years ago, when he defeated Andre Berto to take his professional boxing record to 49-0.

The pair will earn a reported $100 million each for the bout.
