Australian international Robbie Kruse has joined Stuttgart on a season long loan from Bayer Leverkusen.
The 26-year-old has struggled to get game time at Leverkusen, largely due to a horrid run with injury.
He departs the club as Javier Hernandez arrives from Manchester United in a deal worth $26 million.
"I'm really looking forward to this new challenge with Stuttgart and I would like to play my part in ensuring we enjoy better sporting fortunes in the coming weeks and months," Kruse said.
He joins fellow Australian, Mitch Langerek, who recently crossed from Borussia Dortmund.
