Former England cricket star Andrew 'Freddie' Flintoff will grace television screens once again for the first time in almost two years.
It has been confirmed that the 46-year-old will host the second series of the BBC cricket documentary Field of Dreams.
Flintoff's return to the screens comes after he was involved in a high-profile accident whilst filmingย Top Gearย in December 2022.
It is understood that at the time, he was airlifted to hospital and would end up reaching a compensation settlement of (approximately) $17.4 million with BBC studios after sustaining severe facial injuries.
A former captain and vice-captain of England's cricket team, Flintoff scored 3,845 Test runs, 3,394 ODI runs, and 76 T20I runs for his country across an international career spanning from 1998 to 2009.
He also took 226 Test, 169 ODI and 5 T20I wickets with his right-arm seam bowling style.
After retiring from international cricket, he played across the world in the Twenty20 format and was signed by the Brisbane Heat for the 2014-15 BBL season in Australia.
