Ever since 1911, the Most Valuable Player in Major League Baseball has been awarded a prize for their sterling services for the previous year.
In these early days, the Chalmers Award was bestowed on the best player from both the National and American Leagues each season.
However, since 1931, members of the Baseball Writer's Association of America (BBWAA) have cast their votes to crown each league's champion player.
While some teams have forged a reputation for seeing their stars shine bright year upon year, others have not been as fortunate, with only a generational talent, or two, having proven worthy over the past nine decades and change.
And as of the start of the 2024 Major League Baseball season in March, there are still three franchises that are yet to have any of their players earn MVP honours.
From the rare success stories of certain expansion franchises to the galacticos in the Bronx, here is the full list of Most Valuable Player victories by franchise since 1911.
