USA Basketball is set to send a contemporary Dream Team to the 2024 Olympics in Paris this year, with insider reports stating that an all-star-worthy outfit will attend the games in July and August.
Since the 1992 games in Barcelona, USA Basketball has sent star-studded squads filled with professionals rather than rosters filled out with up-and-coming college hoopers.
Ahead of what is expected to be the most hotly-contested tournament, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski has reported that numerous stars will wear stars and stripes this summer, including a litany of perpetual MVPS.

As stated by Wojnarowski on X (formerly Twitter), fans can expect to see the ilk of Steph Curry, LeBron James and Kevin Durant waxing with younger contemporaries in Devin Booker, Tyrese Haliburton and Timberwolves excitement machine Anthony Edwards.
Yet, despite this packed roster, Team USA is expected to leave a spot open on their roster, perhaps to promote a prospective collegiate star, akin to Duke's Christian Laettner being asked to join the Dream Team in Spain 32 years ago.
The 2024 Men's Olympic basketball tournament is set to commence on July 27 and conclude with the Gold Medal game on August 10.
The entire schedule will take place at either the Pierre Mauroy Stadium in Villeneuve-d'Ascq and the finals at Bercy Arena in Paris.
