Alongside The Open, The Masters and the US Open, the PGA Championship remains one of four major pillars in the professional golfing calendar.
Since 1916, the event has been held at a myriad of courses right across America, with a champion crowned after four days of sterlingย golf.
Yet, since 1958, the winner has been found via stroke play rather than match play.
However, the biggest margin of victory was set some 60 years later when American Brooks Koepka posted four consecutive sub-70 scores to finish 16-under and claim 2018 PGA Championship.
Despite starting with a 69, Koepka would catch fire as the weekend continued, posting a second-round 63 and a pair of 66s to round out his 72-hole outing at Bellerive, Missouri with a score of 264.
Year | Winner | First round score | Second round | Third round | Final round | Total |
