After acquiring the defunct World Hockey League's assets in 1926, the contemporary age of the National Hockey League began.
And from the 1927 season, all teams competing in the ever-expanding league possessed the ability to progress through the regular season, the playoffs and into the finals for the right to hoist the Stanley Cup.
Throughout the bounds of this still-running era, 22 different franchises have raised the iconic trophy, with 14 of these teams having done so on multiple occasions.
From the mighty members of the Original Six to the one-and-done winners in recent times, here is the full list of NHL franchises that have won the Stanley Cup since 1927.
