BEST CRICKET SLEDGES - PART II

1. Australian great Glenn McGrath said to West Indian batsman Ramnaresh Sarwan back in 2003:

"What does Brian Lara's d--k taste like?"

"I don't know, ask your wife," Sarwan replied.

2. Australian wicketkeeper Rod Marsh said to English all-rounder Ian Botham, "How's your wife and my kids?"

Botham replied with this beauty: "The wife's fine, the kids are retarded though."

3. Australian player Mike Whitney, who was the 12th man at the time, said to Indian batsman Ravi Shastri: "If you leave your crease I will break your f---ing head."

Shastri then replied with this ripper, "Hey! If you could bat or bowl as well as you could talk, you wouldn't be f---ing twelfth man!"

4. Shane Warne said to South African Daryll Cullinan: "I've been waiting two years for another chance at you."

Cullinan replied by saying, "Looks like you spent it eating."

5. Mark Waugh got burned badly in this exchange with England's James Ormond. Waugh said: "What are you doing out here, you are clearly not good enough... to play for England."

Ormond replied, "Maybe so, but at least I'm the best player in my family."

6. Englishman Greg Thomas had beaten the edge of West Indies legend Viv Richards' bat several times in a county game, before saying: "It's red, it's round. Now hit it!".

Richards then hit the next ball out of the ground for six, before then saying to Thomas: "You know what it looks like, now go and get it."

7. Steve Waugh was playing in a Sheffield Shield match, when Jamie Siddons was frustrated with how long Waugh was taking to take guard, before saying: "Mate, it's not a f***** test match!"

Waugh then replied, "Of course it's not, you're here."

8. Another Glenn McGrath sledge came back to bite him on the bum, when he asked Zimbabwean batsman Eddo Brandes, "Why are you so fat?"

Brandes replied cleverly, saying, "Because every time I f*** your wife, she gives me a biscuit."

9. South African Herschelle Gibbs famously dropped Steve Waugh during the World Cup in England in 1999. Waugh went on to score a century and win the match.

It was later revealed that just after he was dropped, Waugh said to Gibbs: "How does it feel to have dropped the World Cup?โ€

10. Pakistani batsman Javed Miandad said to Australian bowler Merv Hughes in 1991: "Merv, you are a big, fat bus conductor."

Merv dismissed Miandad a few balls later, before running past him yelling, "Tickets please."
