Caleb Williams seems to be finding his NFL groove and getting better each week. Albeit against a lowly Panthers squad, the number one pick threw for his best game yet, boasting a 126 passer rating in a dominant win.
D.J. Moore stepped up as the number one weapon and will look to hold that mantle, while Andy Dalton and Carolina are left 1-4 and without much hope for the rest of the season ahead.

A much needed big day for Trevor Lawrence in a win for the Jags, dishing out his best game of the season so far in a tight shootout victory.
The offense was clicking on all cylinders for the first time this season, running back Tank Bigsby adding to the production with his two-touchdown, 100-yard game.
Both defences would be disappointed. The Colts allowed a struggling side to trounce them in the air and on the ground while Jacksonville allowed Joe Flacco to dice his way to three touchdowns.
Houston Texans (23 vs 20) Buffalo Bills

A day dominated by C.J. Stroud, but kept close by the Bills defense and run game.
Josh Allen played one of the most inefficient quarterback games in recent memory and appeared concussed after a big hit in the fourth quarter, as the Bills coughed up their second loss of the season in as many weeks.
The Texans were leaning heavily on their sophomore quarterback to great effect for most of the day, he started hot with an early bomb for a touchdown and finally found some connection with receiving recruit Stefon Diggs.
Houston again looks like a real contender in the AFC as they jump to 4-1.

This may be tough to beat as the game of the season. A QB duel for the ages, littered with highlights and plays from the top shelf, culminating in a thrilling overtime finish.
Joe Burrow produced one of the best performances of any player this season with elite help in the air from Ja'Marr Chase, though Lamar Jackson could just about say the same.
The two-time MVP made one of the great plays of the season in the fourth quarter, fumbling the snap at scrimmage, fending off a D-lineman, before delivering a pin-point throw to Isaiah Likely to cut it to a field goal.
Derrick Henry essentially called game in overtime with his near 70 yard run and the Ravens claimed a huge divisional win, sending the Bengals to 1-4.

49ers coach Kyle Shanahan put this loss on the costly turnovers late, increasing some pressure on Brock Purdy, who has been otherwise impressive this season.
Brandon Aiyuk and Jordan Mason were clinical in the receiving and run game, but not enough to overcome the Cards.
Kyler Murray went to the house on one of the best runs this week, while James Conner fought through the 49ers O-line impressively, as the Cardinals meet their divisional rival at 2-3.

The Packers sit at the bottom of their division with a winning record of 3-2.
They were lucky Jordan Love's thoughtless pick-six didn't cost them the game, but they'll take the win in a game that could've gone awry.
Matthew Stafford is still without an ideal weapon to throw to as he awaits Cooper Kupp and Puca Nacua. Hopefully the the season doesn't slip away from the Rams before then.

Justin Fields is becoming less prolific as the season progresses and a couple more losses could spell the start of Russell Wilson's Pittsburgh tenure.

Mahomes' numbers were better than the stats suggest; his pick came from a juggle in the end-zone and he had a deep bomb to Xavier Worthy interfered by a passing penalty.
Nonetheless, the Chiefs are one of two undefeated teams on the season and are yet to deliver a classic Kansas City performance.
Steve Spagnuolo's defense may be underrated, despite being widely regarded as the best in the league. They are yet to concede 30 points since the Super Bowl against the Eagles nearly two years ago, and they are stopping all offensive firepower that comes their way, no matter how dynamic.
