The US Open is one of the four major championships on the tennis circuit each year. Over the years, 13 Australians have won the US Open across the men's and women's competition, with a number of athletes winning more it more once.
The First Australian to win the US Open was Frank Sedgman in 1951, who went on to repeat in 1952. The last Aussie to win the US Open was in 2011 when Samantha Stosur won her first major grand slam title.
