The Indian Premier League (IPL) will enter its 18th season in 2025 as the annual tournament gets bigger and better every year.
Hosted between March and May, ten teams from across India compete in the competition.
The teams, which are made up of foreign and domestic players, are the Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Titans, Kolkata Knights Riders, Lucknow Super Giants, Mumbai Indians, Punjab Kings, Rajasthan Royals, and Royal Challengers Bengaluru.
Ahead of the IPL 2025 season, the tournament has confirmed the IPL auction player list which includes players from around the world and India.
So, who is the youngest player listed?
The youngest player listed is Indian batter Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who is 13 years old.
A promising left-hand batter, Suryavanshi is the 491st name on the list and, despite his young age, has already made a name for himself in cricket.
Making his first-class debut in January this year for Bihar, he was chosen for the India A squad to face Australia A in two multi-day red-ball matches in September and October.
Scoring a century in the first innings of the first match, he can also bowl slow left-arm orthodox.
