The Preston Hire duo of Lee Holdsworth and Karl Reindler are ready to hit the streets of the Gold Coast for this weekend's final round of the Enduro championship.
The duo, who had a disappointing result at the recent Bathurst 1000 when they suffered an engine failure, will be looking for revenge this weekend and are thirsty to produce a positive result for the team and take home one of the coveted surfboards for their efforts.
โIt's hard to bounce back so soon after such disappointment at Bathurst,โ Lee said. โBut we will push harder than ever to get a result at the Gold Coast. Persistence beats resistance and if we keep that in mid soon good things will come. Let's hope that means bringing home a surfboard this round.โ
Holdsworth and Reindler produced a P7 Race Result in Sunday's race last year, which was their best result as a team until Holdsworth finished P5 earlier this year at Phillip Island.
The team will be supporting their official charity, Surf Life Saving Queensland, over the weekendย with the car and crew brandishing the red and yellow logo and important message.
