All Elite Wrestling (AEW) stars Rey Fenix and Pentagon El Zero M have both been linked with a potential switch to WWE as their contracts are set to expire.

One of the AEW originals when the promotion started in 2019, the two superstars make up the Lucha Brothers and have held the AEW World Tag Team Championships and AEW Word Trio Championship with Pac.

Well-known performers, the real-life brothers, have yet to appear in WWW but have appeared in other promotions such as AAA, CMLL, TNA, Lucha Underground and Pro Wrestling Guerrilla (PWG).

However, they could soon make their maiden appearance in WWE with reports from Wrestling Observer's Bryan Alvarez, stating that the Lucha Brothers are set to depart AEW for WWE when their contracts expire, having already drawn interest from the rival wrestling promotion.

It is understood that Pentagon's contract will expire between August and September, followed weeks later by Rey Fenix's contract.

As the rumours surrounding their future intensify, Fenix has pulled out of an independent show for the end of September which may be an indication that they are headed to WWE.
