The Raptors were in desperate need for a big man as Serge Ibaka (Clippers) and Marc Gasol (Lakers) departed for Venus Beach.
Baynes had a good 2019-20 season with the Phoenix Suns, the big man averaged 11.5 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
He only managed 46 games though after injury troubles during the season.
