Australian tennis player Nick Lindahl has been given a seven year ban by the tennis integrity unit for match fixing.
Lindahl, now 28, was also fined $49,000 after being found guilty of corruption.
The charges relate to an ITF Futures tournament in Toowoomba in September 2013.
He was convicted of using corrupt conduct information and fined $1,000 at the time for his involvement in match-fixing.
Despite the fact that Lindahl retired from professional tennis in 2013, he has been banned from all professional tennis and is unable to attend any tournaments or events sanctioned by the governing bodies until 2024.
โMr Lindahl has been banned from all professional tennis for seven years and fined US$35,000 (AU $49,000), the Tennis Integrity Unit said in a statement.
โHe was found guilty of charges of contriving or attempting to contrive the outcome of an event, and failing to co-operate with a TIU investigation.โ
Two other players were associated with the incident,ย Brandon Walkin and Isaac Frost, have also been sanctioned.
Walkin has been suspended for six months after he was found guilty of contriving or attempting to contrive the outcome of an event.
Frost was found guilty of having failed to co-operate with the TIU by refusing to supply his mobile phone for analysis.
