Australia have confirmed their Prime Minister's XI squad to face India in a two-day day/night fixture at Manuka Oval.

Beginning on November 30 ahead of the Day Night Test Match at Adelaide Oval, Matt Renshaw and Scott Boland are the two most experienced players of the squad having previously played international Tests for Australia.

Captained by Jack Edwards, the squad includes a blent of experienced players and young stars coming through and will reunite former Australian U19s teammates Charlie Anderson, Mahli Beardman, Aidan O'Connor and Sam Konstas.

"The squad contains a mix of experience combined with some promising emerging players in Australian cricket," Chair of Selectors George Bailey said in a statement.

“The Prime Minister's XI match presents an opportunity for a highly talented squad to impress against a strong Indian team in their only pink-ball hit out prior to the second Test.

“We are utilising the opportunity to maintain Scott Boland's match fitness in his preparations as part of the Test squad.

“We thank the Prime Minister for his input into the squad which sees some of the country's most exciting young cricketers mixed with some highly experienced players.”
