Australian opener David Warner will reportedly not partake in the remainder of Australia's second Test against India due to concussion.
The veteran hitter suffered the head knock after a fierce delivery from Indian paceman Mohammed Siraj struck his helmet early into the opening day of the Delhi Test.
Warner would require treatment on the ailment as well as an elbow injury before being dismissed for 15 runs from 44 balls, having taken 21 deliveries to get off the strike in what was a tough innings for the New South Welshman.
Having not taken to the field during the start of India's innings at the crease, concussion concerns lingered for Warner, who is now said to have been ruled out of the remainder of the Test, according to News Corp'sย Peter Lalor.
Warner's setback will allow Australia to call on a concussion substitute, with middle-order batsman Matt Renshaw expected to come into the side.
The Queenslander was dropped from the Australian XI after recording scores of 0 and 2 in the opening Test in Nagpur.

Warner had also faced questions over his form prior to the injury, having managed just the one score above 68 since the start of last year.
Renshaw will now return to the XI, potentially slotting into an opening role alongside Usman Khawaja, while Travis Head may also be considered for a spot atop the order.
Australia are yet to confirm the XI change ahead of play.
Play for the second day of the Delhi Test will resume at approximately 3:00pm (AEDT).
