Australia’s 2024 Olympic Basketball squads

A host of NBA players will feature for the Boomers in Paris.

Basketball Australia and the Australian Olympic Committee have unveiled the teams set to represent the nation at the Paris 2024 Olympics.

A total of 28 athletes will compete across the Boomers, Opals, and 3x3 Gangurrus squads.

The legendary Lauren Jackson as well as national icons Patty Mills, and Joe Ingles will make their fifth Olympic appearances, joining Andrew Gaze in this elite group.

The Boomers' squad includes eight members from the Tokyo 2021 bronze medal team, with Mills and Ingles leading the charge. NBA talents Josh Giddey, Dyson Daniels, and Josh Green highlight the fresh faces making their Olympic debut.

The Opals, led by Captain Tess Madgen, feature a mix of experienced and debut players, including the iconic Lauren Jackson returning after a stunning 12-year gap.

The 3x3 Gangurrus, making their Olympic debut, will be captained by Anneli Maley.

Australia's basketball teams face tough competition in Paris, with the Boomers drawn in Group A and the Opals in Group B.

The Gangurrus will compete in an eight-team 3x3 tournament.
