Australian basketball star Ben Simmons has headed down under during the NBA's off season and stunned local fans in Melbourne on Monday night as he appeared in a pick up game in the city's northern suburbs.
Simmons showed out for a local side in Greensborough at the Diamond Valley Sports Centre, scoring 34 points on 16 made field goals for his side 'The Splashers' to lead them to a 20-point victory.

Simmons appeared to be unfazed by the foot injuries he has suffered that caused him to miss his rookie NBA season as he dunked on several opponents as the crowd watched on in awe.

Simmons' Philadelphia 76ers tip off their season in Washington on October 18 which is set to be the young Australian's first NBA game.
