Brumbies boss Michael Jones has declared that the club can build a premiership win around new halfback Tomas Cubelli in 2016.

Cubelli was unveiled at Brumbies headquarters on Monday and there is high expectations on the Argentinian halfback.

โ€œ[Coach] Stephen Larkham was very specific as to what we wanted to replace Nic White and what we needed to take our team to the next level,โ€ Jones said.

โ€œWe see 2016 as being a very important season for us.

โ€œIt's a great opportunity for us to win the Super Rugby championship and Tomas is an integral and very key part of that plan.

โ€œThe way he plays the game will fit in with us and our existing squad is something we've thought about a lot and we'll build a lot of our game around him. We're very fortunate to have him here.โ€
