James notched hisย 5989th postseason point, surpassing Jordan's 5,987 points.
Meanwhile, Kyrie Irving finished with 24 points and Kevin Love had 15 for the Cavs.
Avery Bradley led the scoring with 23 for the Celtics, followed by Gerald green who finished with 14 points.
