Cricket Australia has confirmed its men's contract list for the 2024-25 season, with two new players earning contracts.
The quartet of Aaron Hardie, Matt Short, Nathan Ellis and Xavier Bartlett have all secured a spot on the men's contract list.
All four players have already earned international caps for Australia.
They will replace Ashton Agar, Marcus Stonis, Marcus Harris, Michael Neser and David Warner (retired), all of whom have been removed.
Players that have been overlooked include veterans such as Matthew Wade, Matthew Renshaw and Peter Handscomb and young and up-and-coming players like Tanveer Sangha.
"Matt, Aaron and Xavier have been extremely impressive in the early stages of their international careers," said National Selection Chairman George Bailey in a statement.
"Their performances and the way they have embraced the international stage has been exciting to watch.
"The panel believes they have strong futures and are deserved of their contracts as they work towards striving to become regulars in the Australian setup."
