The Indian Premier League (IPL) have confirmed the dates for the next three seasons.

As reported by ESPNcricinfo, the IPL has confirmed that the 2025 season will begin on March 14 and end on May 25, while the 2026 dates have been listed as March 15 to May 31, and 2027 will be between March 14 and May 30.

It is understood that the 2025 season will consist of 74 matches - the same as the last three years - but ten fewer than when the media rights for the 2023-27 cycle were sold.

Surprisingly, the matches are set to be increased back to 84 for 2025 and 2026, with a maximum of 94 games for the final year of the deal in 2027.
