It's finally here!
The EPL is back this weekend as all 20 Premier League teams are set to battle it out for the title.
Leicester will be looking to build on their incredible championship win from last season, but Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool, Tottenham, Manchester City and Manchester United are all primed to make a run at the Foxes' crown.
With the opening round spanning from Saturday night to Tuesday morning Australian time, here are our predictions for this weekend's EPL matches.
Hull v Leicester
The newly promoted Tigers will provide a tough first up test for the champions, although Leicester should have too much class for them in this one. Leicester WIN.
Crystal Palace v West Brom
Alan Pardew has made some impressive signings this transfer window, and unfortunately for the Baggies they haven't strengthened at all, so the home side should get this win. Palace WIN.
Burnley v Swansea
Both sides will be aiming just for survival this season, after Swansea disappointed last year and have lost captain Ashley Williams to Everton. DRAW.
Everton v Tottenham
The Spurs were so close to pinching the title towards the back end of last season and should go close again as Mauricio Pochettino has another year with his squad. Tottenham WIN.
Middlesbrough v Stoke
Boro will fancy themselves as the strongest of the promoted teams this season, and should push Stoke for the full 90 in their first Premier League match in seven years. DRAW.
Southampton v Watford
It's a matter of new faces at both Southampton and Watford, as Claude Puel (Saints) and Walter Mazzarri (Hornets) take over as manager of their respective clubs. A tough match-up suggests this will be too close to call. DRAW.
Manchester City v Sunderland
City have bolstered their squad over the summer, and look set to be one of Leicester's main challengers this season. A home opener to Sunderland shouldn't be a problem for them. City WIN.
Bournemouth v Manchester United
Not to be outdone with their noisy neighbours, United pulled off the signings of the summer led by the world's most expensive player, Paul Pogba. It'll take time for them to gel, but Bournemouth won't have enough to stop them this weekend. United WIN.
Arsenal v Liverpool
In one of the biggest matches of the opening weekend, these two big clubs will be looking for bragging rights over one another in this huge game. Both teams may just be happy with a draw here, but if one team can get the win, Liverpool may just have enough quality in them. Liverpool WIN.
Chelsea v West Ham
Last season's suprise packets for all the wrong reasons, Chelsea will be out to start this season much better than they did the last. The Hammers were fantastic last year and have added depth to their squad, so they'll got the potential to take a point from Chelsea in this one. DRAW.ย
