Matildas captain Sam Kerr and her partner Kristie Mewis have announced that they are expecting their first baby, which is due next year.
Revealing the news on Instagram, the pair were seen pictured in black and white photos holding up an image of the ultrasound scan.
This comes after they got engaged last November, with the couple having been together since 2021.

A forward for Chelsea in the Women's Super League (WSL) competition, Kerr has made 128 international caps for Australia throughout her career and is recognised as one of the best players to ever wear the jersey.
Her partner, Kristie Mewis, is a standout football player in her own right. The midfielder currently represents West Ham United in the WSL and has 53 international caps for the United States.
