Ever since all systems were go way back in 1928, Australia has played host to a Formula 1 Grand Prix.

And while cars have improved and drivers have come and gone in this near-century stretch, it has always been the fastest automobile and the deftest motorist who have taken the chequered flag.

The event has been held at 23 different venues before returning home to Albert Park, there have been 54 different drivers who have crossed the line first in the race's storied history.
