Formula 1 has announced it return to 2020, with a total of eight races taking place across nine week starting from early July.
The competition was quickly shutdown during practice sessions of the Australian Grand Prix amid coronavirus concerns and now with brighter horizons, the organisation looks set to return to normality.
Since the first scare that included a McLaren team member contracting the virus, the Dutch, French and Monaco Grand Prix's were added tough cancellations list.
The following six schedule Grand Prix's had been postponed and now with Formula 1 set to return, will be packed into a condensed version of the original schedule.
Following the United Kingdom's decision to allow drivers and teams an exemption from the originally forced 14-day quarantine upon entry, the world championships were able to release their new 2020 calendar.
Australia are set to hold the first Grand Prix in the sports return on July 3-5 before a second Australian Grand Prix the following weekend.
A Hungarian Grand Prix will follow before another double-header at Silverstone.
Barcelona, Spa and Monza round out the first eight races across the nine week schedule, with a weeks break falling between the Belgium and Italian championships.
Formula 1 are still expecting between 15 and 18 races for the 2020 calendar, which is likely to wrap up in December.
