Australian football fans have been given something to cheer about, as Optus Sport will broadcast two of the country's national teams at their major tournaments in 2016.
All of the Futsalroos' matches at the FIFA Futsal 2016 World Cup will be shown live on Optus Sport, and the Semi Finals and Final will also be shown on the new channel.
The same can be said for the Young Socceroos, as their entire 2016 Asean Football Federation U19 Championship campaign will be shown live.
The Futsalroos won their opening match over Mozambique 3-2 on Sunday afternoon, and their remaining group matches are against Brazil on September 14, and Ukraine on September 17. The Final will be played on October 1.
The Young Socceroos begin their AFF U19 Championship group matches on September 12, playing five matches in nine days. They face Cambodia, Myanmar, Indonesia, Thailand and Laos in that time frame.
