Ex-NRL star Valentine Holmes is progressing towards his goal of playing in the NFL, after being selected to compete for a spot in the 2019 International Player Pathway Program.
The 23-year-old will tryout for the program along with six other NFL hopefuls from around the world.
David Bada (Germany), Moubarak Djeri (Germany), Jakob Johnson (Germany), Dural Neto (Brazil), Maximo Sanchez (Mexico) and Christian Wade (United Kingdom) will all face off alongside Holmes for the spot.
The program only began in 2017, but has already seen the success of fellow Australian Jordan Mailata, who is now a member of the Philadelphia Eagles.
