Zlatan Ibrahimovic scored twice on his home debut as Manchester United claimed a comfortable Premier League win over Southampton at Old Trafford this morning.
The Swedish striker opened the scoring, heading in Wayne Rooney's brilliant cross from the right. He doubled the scoreline in the second half, scoring from the spot after Jordy Clasie tripped Luke Shaw, taking him to three goals in just two games since joining on a free transfer.
Paul Pogba, United's $152m world-record signing from Juventus, made an energetic full league debut, controlling most of the game from midfield.
The victory was United's second in succession in the league this season after their opening-day win at Bournemouth. United have also reversed the results with two wins they didn't get last season in the corresponding fixtures.
Next for Jose Mourinho's men is a trip to the KC Stadium to face Hull City next Sunday morning, while Southampton host Sunderland next Sunday as well.
