India have confirmed an unchanged squad for the third and fourth Test against Australia in the Border Gavaskar series.
It has taken less than six days of cricket for the Indian side to retain the trophy, having last won it on Australian soil when the two sides met a few summers ago.
Australia's brittle batting has thus far been exposed on the sub-continent, with India recording resounding wins in both Nagpur and Delhi.
The Aussies now face the task of attempting to draw the series in the fact of an attack which will remain unchanged. It has, at one stage, been hoped that Jasprit Bumrah may have been fit to force his way back into the side, but with the series locked away and a home ODI World Cup on the horizon, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) selectors found no point changing the winning combination.
Rishabh Pant, whose timeline is unclear after a car accident earlier this year, will also remain out of the side for the final Tests of the series.
The ODI side, minus Bumrah, is also close to full strength for an important lead in series to the World Cup in the same conditions as the tournament will be played between two of the best sides in the world.
India recently trounced both Sri Lanka and New Zealand on home soil in ODI cricket, and while Rohit Sharma will miss the first ODI in Mumbai, he will be back for the last two matches of the series.
It has been confirmed that Hardik Pandya will captain in his absence for the first game.
The ODI series kicks off on March 17.
