Jack Miller has arrived in South America this week for the upcoming Grand Prix of Argentina, the young Aussie Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS rider keen to capitalise on his positive start in the opening round in Qatar almost two weeks ago.
Jack scored points in the 2017 opening round with a top ten finish in eighth place overall and he is now looking to improve on this result come Sunday.
In last year's South American race Jack crashed out in the early stages of the race while battling with Jorge Lorenzo for sixth place but is confident that this weekend's race will have a much stronger outcome as the fast and flowing Termas de Rio Hondo track will better suit the characteristics of his 2017 Honda RC213V MotoGP machine.
"Qatar was a good start to the season and I was happy with the result,” he said. “Now we head to Argentina looking to improve further, on a track that should be a good match for our bike.”
“We've been getting better and better each time we get out on the bike and I'm confident we can continue that trend at the next two races in Argentina and Austin, two tracks I enjoy racing at a lot.”
“Termas is a circuit that doesn't see much use, so some caution is required on Friday when the track can be a little dirty, but it doesn't usually take long to clean up. I'm looking forward to the weekend ahead, as they always put on a bit of a special show for the race in Argentina."
