Cleveland has revealed that centre Andrew Bogut fractured his left tibia during the Cavs' game with Miami on Tuesday.

Bogut took a knee to the shin from Heat forward Okaro White during the second quarter of the contest at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, and the Australian hobbled to the sidelines before being escorted to the locker room.

It was the 32-year-old's debut for the Cavaliers, and the incident took place just two minutes after Bogut was first put in the game.

He has been taken to the Cleveland Clinic for further evaluation and the Cavs will update his health when more news comes to hand.

No timetable has been set for his return.
