Star Australian top-order batsman Usman Khawaja is facing a delayed start to his tour of India over a visa issue.
While the rest of the squad flew out of Sydney on Tuesday following the Allan Border Medal ceremony, Khawaja was left behind without clearance to enter India.
Khawaja took to Instagram on Wednesday to state he was still waiting for his visa, hashtaging the words stranded, don't leave me, standard and anytime now.

According to Wide World of Sports, Cricket Australia have confirmed that Khawaja is expected to have his visa cleared today and will fly to India on Thursday.
It's understood he was not expected to train on Thursday, however, he will now take an extra length of time to his teammates to acclimatise to Indian conditions.
Khawaja, who is one of Australia's best batsmen, and one of their best players of spin, has had troubles attempting to travel to India before, having encountered issues in 2011 ahead of the T20 Champions Trophy.
The Border-Gavaskar trophy, which will be played over four Tests, begins in Nagpur on February 9, with matches to then be played in Delhi, Dharamsala and Ahmedabad at what is the world's biggest cricket stadium.
India have only lost 2 of their last 43 home Tests.
