It was mentioned during the Japanese Grand Prix that the best available seat left on the 2018 Formula One grid was with WilliamsF1 alongside Canadian youngster Lance Stroll and that the Grove based squad were planning on having a โshoot out' of sorts to try and help them decide who should fill it.
Part of this process involved testing both Robert Kubica and Paul di Resta, who stood in for the ill Felipe Massa a few months ago, in Budapest next week, however, t seems as if Kubica got a taste of what was to come at the Silverstone circuit this week.
According to reports on the sports official website, Kubica had a โsuccessful' test with the team, however no exact details were released. This s the Polish drivers second test so far this year following on from his recent session with Renault.
