LSU suffered their first loss of the season, but Aussie college star Ben Simmons was once again on fire.

Simmons finished with 21 points, 20 rebounds and seven assists as his star continues to rise.

However, LSU went down 81-80 to Marquette.

Marquette took an early 10-0 lead in the first quarter and led for much of the ball game and had a nine point lead with five minutes to play.

But LSU managed to stage a late comeback, even stealing the lead with 26 seconds left in the game. But it wasn't enough, with Simmon's side eventually going down by one point to sit 3-1 after four games.

Luke Fischer top scored with 19 points for Marquette, while NBA prospect Henry Ellenson finished with 16 points and 10 rebounds.
