Today saw four Aussies play across the NBA with each one contributing strongly for their sides.

Ben Simmons and the Philadelphia 76ers travelled to Miami for a game against the Heat and emerged victorious 124-114.

Simmons didn't have his most spectacular game but was solid down the stretch with a couple of big dunks in the last three minutes.

He finished with 13 points, seven assists and seven rebounds. Simmons is averaging 15 points, 9.6 rebounds and 7.8 assists so far this season. Fellow Australian Jonah Bolden didn't get on the court but has looked promising in the time he's been given.

Joe Ingles and Dante Exum both featured for the Utah Jazz as they travelled to play the Memphis Grizzlies.

Ingles scored 19 points, including three three-pointers, while adding six rebounds and five assists. Exum scored nine points and was on the receiving end of an amazing move by Memphis guard Mike Conley.

The Jazz held on for an eight-point win, 96-88. Ingles and Exum have impressed so far this season with both averaging career highs in points, Ingles with 13.8 and Exum going for eight points a game in 16 minutes.

Patty Mills was in action for the San Antonio Spurs as they faced the Kings in Sacramento. Mills scored five points, grabbed three rebounds and dished out four assists. The Spurs fell short, losing to the Kings 99-104 to hold a record of 7-5 on the season. Mills is averaging 10.2 points along with 3.5 rebounds and 1.9 assists in the first 12 games.

The Dallas Mavericks' Australian, Ryan Broekhoff, didn't get on the court as they beat the Bulls 103-98.

On November 15, Ben Simmons and the 76ers will be boosted by the debut of Jimmy Butler, who the organisation received in a trade with the Minnesota Timberwolves. Time will tell whether Butler is the missing piece to take Simmons and Joel Embiid to the next level and contend for a championship.
