With the call dividing social media, the decision inevitably prevented the Wizards the opportunity to draw closer to the 76ers. Philidelphia managed to pull away winning the first game of the series.

In an unusual circumstance, the Suns found themselves the underdog for the series, despite being the number 2 seed in the west.
Despite it being the Sun's first playoff birth since 2010, Phoenix wouldn't allow the moment to get them, hustling and playing with heart all game.

The Suns jumped to an early lead, but an injury scare to point guard Chris Paul, left fans worried about a possible team collapse.

The Jazz entered the game as the number 1 seed, but without their best player Donavan Mitchell.
The Jazz were looking to stamp their authority as the best in the West with a comprehensive win, but the Grizzlies and Morant had other ideas.
