Shakib Al Hasan has finally been dethroned after holding the rank of No.1 allrounder in ODI cricket on the ICC rankings for over half a decade.
The Bangladesh international has been on top of the rankings since May 2019 but hasn't played international cricket since the conclusion of the ODI World Cup in India last year.
He was also recently ruled out of their upcoming white-ball series against Sri Lanka.
Dethroning Al Hasan on top of the rankings is Afghanistan international Mohammad Nabi, who claims the position after scoring 136 runs against Sri Lanka in the opening 50-over game in a three-match series. He also took a wicket during the game.
Sitting on top with a rating of 314, Al Hasan is on 310, followed by Sikandar Raza from Zimbabwe (288), Rashid Khan from Afghanistan (255), Assad Vala from Papua New Guinea (248) and 'The Big Show' Glenn Maxwell from Australia (237).
